Christening of John Crowcher in the IGI on 20 October 1633 in Petworth, Sussex, father Johs Crowcher There are two submitted entries in the IGI for the birth of John Crowcher in Eastdean, Sussex in 1639 and in about 1639. Three entries for marriage in IGI, one spelt Crowcher, and one states a William Crouch, relative was present. East Dean spelt Eastdeane. Marriage of John Crowcher and Mary Keyse in the IGI on on 15 February 1664 in Graffham, Sussex. There are also three submitted entries, one giving the marriage of John Crowcher on 5 November 1664 in Eastdean, Sussex, another to Mary Keyse on 5 November 1664 in Eastdeane, Dean, Cumberland, and the third of John Croucher to Mary Keyse on 5 November 1664 in Eastdeane, Dean, East, Gloucester. There are two entries in the Sussex Family History Group Sussex Marriage Index. One is an Archdeaconry of Chichester Marriage Licence dated 5 Nov 1664 for John Crowcher, yeoman of East Dean, and Mary KEYSE, spinster of the same parish. The second is for the marriage of John Crowcher and Mary Keyse of East dean in Graffham, Sussex. Both children were christened in East Dean. Entry in FamilyHistoryOnline Sussex Burials for John Croucher on 20 May 1695 at East Dean All Saints, Sussex. Graffham is two miles north of East Dean, but on the other side of the Downs.
