Birth of Maud Marden in FreeBMD in October-December 1886 in Farnham (2a 129).
In the 1891 census as Maud Marden aged 4, born in Frensham, and living with her parents (Stephen and Mennie), two brothers (Frank and George), sister (Ada), and grandmother (Eliza Baker) in four rooms in Churt, Frensham, Surrey (this was apparently shared with another family who apparently shared the same four rooms, and was next door to the Pride of the Valley (on Hindhead Road).
There appears to be two entries for her in the 1901 census. The first as Maud Marden aged 15, place of birth not known, and living with her parents (Stephen and Minnie), brother (Frank) and sister (Ada), the family lodging with Augustus H Goaderd (aged 32, born in Yately, Hants and employed as a carpenter), his wife (Ellen aged 39 and born in Odiham, Hants), their four sons (Albert F aged 6 and born in Sunninghill, Berkshire, Arthur L aged 11 and born in Odiham, Hampshire, Henry E aged 9 and born in Winkfield, Berkshire, and John D aged 5 and born in Ascot, Berkshire) and two daughters (Dorothy A aged 11 and born in Hartley Row, Hampshire and Sissy M aged 9 months and born in Crondall) in four rooms (this appears to be for both families!) in Heath Lane, Crondall, Hampshire. In the second as Maud Marden aged 14, born in Churt, Surrey, and living with her uncle (Henry Marden), his wife (Charity), five sons (Edwin, Ernest, Frederick, Henry and Maurice), and Maud's sister (Ada) at Linsted Farm, Headley, Hampshire.
Maud Marden was my third cousin once removed.
