In the 1891 census as James (sic - on the original) Hutchings aged 16, born in Frensham, employed as a carter, and living with his parents (James and Emily), two brothers (Albert and Thomas) and sister (Elizabeth) at Batts Corner, Frensham, Surrey.

in the 1901 census as Alfred J Hutching (sic - in the index, Hutchings on the original) aged 26, born in Frensham, employed as a flour miller, and living with his wife (Kate), son (William J) and daughter (Florence K), and a border James W Dedman (aged 42, born in Haslemere, single and employed as an ordinary agricultural labourer) at 2 The Street, Frensham, Surrey.

In the 1911 census asAlfred James Hutchings aged 36 and living with Kate (wife?), William James (son?) and Florence Kate (daughter?) in Farnham, Surrey.

They later lived at Wrecclesham.

He was always know as Jim according to my father's records.

Relationship

Alfred James Hutchings was the husband of Kate Fullick, my grandaunt.
