The first three children were born in Germany between about 1873 anmd 1880, and last tree in Onatario between 1882 and 1888 so I assume the family emmigrated from Germany to Canada in 1881.
In the 1891 census as Michael Zuchlke aged 54, born in Germany, parents born in Germany, a farmer and living with his wife (Louise), three sons (Albert, Johann and Wilhelm) and three daughters (Adeline, Othilie and Wilhelmine) in Petawawa and McKay, Renfrew North, Ontario.
Two entries in Ancestry Canada, City and Area Directories, 1819-1906 for Michael Zuchlke a famer in Petawawa, Ontario in 1894.
In an entry in Ancestry Ontario, Canada, Marriages, 1801-1928, 1933-1934 for William Zuilkie and Anna L A Patswald in Renfrew in 1905, his parents are given as Michel Zuilkie and Louisa Grammens.
His wife was widowed in the 1911 Canadian census and died in Renfrew, Ontario, Canada in 1927.
There are 12 entries in Ancestry Public Member Trees for Michael Zuelkie born in Danzik, Germany on 15 November 1856 and his death in Waupaca, Waupaca, Wisconsin, USA on 28 May 1936. Four give his marriage to Lizzie Garmenz and a son William, another a son Albert Ferdenand Silke. One gives his parents as August Schuelke and Anna C Kisco, and three his mother as Anna Kisrow. Three give his marriage to Emilie Henriette Gehrke and four children. From the dates and the 1880 census two families appear to have been confused. There is also an entry for Michael Silke born in Danzik, Germany on 15 November 1856 and his death in Waupaca, Waupaca, Wisconsin, USA on 28 May 1936 and married to Lizzie Garmenz. Another entry for Michael Zuelke gives his birth in Germany in 1837, his wife Louisa Wilhelmina Grammens, his three sons and a daughter, and his death in Petawawa Twp., Renfrew Co., On, Canada in 1888 and a photograph of his gravestone shows "Hier Ruhet/Michael Zuelke/ ? ?/20 Marez 1837/Cest Den/19 DEZ 1898". The date of death does look like 1888, but this conflicts with the 1891 census.
Michel Zuelke was the great grandfather of Earla Elsie Burger, wife of Donald Arthur Clayfield, grandnephew of Ellen Kate Luff, wife of Frederick Baker, my first cousin twice removed.
