Another entry gives the marriage in about 1875 in Texas and adds she was born 21 June 1855 in Alabama. Another submitted entry gives the birth of Sally Elizabeth Young in 1853 in Alabama and her death in 1933. Another gives her birth on 21 June 1855 in Alabama, parents Bailey Young and Sally Brown, and her death on 13 April 1933.
There are submitted entries in the IGI for the birth of Myrtle Ann, daughter of John D and Sallie Elizabeth, one in 1878 in Johnson County, Texas, adding another daughter Mineola born in about 1880 in Texas. However another submitted entry gives her name as Myrtle Annie born 17 May 1880 in Texas and another is the same but adds Hill County. A submitted entry for Warren Walter Walling, parents John D Walling and Sallie Elizabeth Young gives his birth on 11 August 1877 in Cleburne, Johnson, Texas.

In the 1881 census as Sally Walling aged 24, born in Texas, father born in Tennessee in the index, Alabama on the original and mother in Mississippi in the index, Alabana on the original, and living with her husband (Jno D), son (Walter) and daughter (Mincola) at Precinct 4, Hill County, Texas. However on the two entries for her children their mother is shown as being born in Alabama, while Walter's father was born in Alabama and Mincola's in Texas! If the birth states are correct, Walter was born in Alabama and Mincola in Texas.
Her husband died in Texas in 1894.
