In the 1881 census as George Young aged 38, born in Hindhead, Hampshire (sic - on the original), employed as a labourer, and living with his wife (Emma) and four daughters (Catherine, Emma, Harriott C and Lucy) at Hammer Vale, Bramshott, Hampshire.
In the 1891 census as George Young aged 48, born in Frensham, Surrey, employed as a general labourer, and living with his wife (Emma) and two daughters (Catherine and Lucy) at Hammer Road, Bramshott, Hampshire.
In the 1901 census as George Young aged 58, born in Hindhead, Surrey, employed as a gardener and cowman, and living with his wife (Emma) and daughter (Catherine) in four rooms at Hammer, Bramshott, Hampshire. A Walter Young and family were living next door but does not appear to be a relative.
In the 1911 census as George Young aged 69, born in Shottermill, Surrey, a general labourer and living with his wife (Emma) in four rooms at Holly Cottage, Hammer, Shottermill, Bramshott, Petersfield, Hampshire. Note that this wife had had eight children, five of which had died. This would therefore include Emma.
Entry in FreeBMD for the death of George Young in July-September 1914 aged 72 in Petersfield (2c 183) which included Bramshott.
There is an entry in Ancestry Public Member Trees for George Young born in 1842 in Frensham, Surrey, parents Charles Young and Martha Madgwick. Another entry adds his marriage to Emma Davis and his four daughters.
George Young was the father of Harriet Eliza Young, wife of Allen Henry Croucher, my first cousin twice removed.
