In the 1841 census as Elenor Young aged 5, born in Surrey, and living with Charles and Martha (parents?), Eliza, Harriott, Lucy and Mary (sisters?) at Middle Pitfold, Frensham, Surrey.
In the 1851 census as Ellen Young aged 16, born in Fransham (sic), Surrey and a domestic house servant living with James Laker (aged 35, born in Bramshott, Hampshire and a licensed victualler) his wife (Mary A aged 36, and born in Hadley, Hampshire), son (Edward aged 1 and born in Bramshott), a general servant (George Gauntlett aged 29, born in Trotton, Sussex and single) and a lodger (Thomas Rapley aged 34, born in Bramshott, single and a farm labourer) at the Wheatsheaf Inn, Bramshott.
Elenor Young was the aunt of Harriet Eliza Young, wife of Allen Henry Croucher, my first cousin twice removed.
