There is an entry for the marriage of Stephen Hall and Sarah Wilsdon in the IGI on 27 February 1808 at Frensham, Surrey, and there are entries for the christenings of Harriot Hall in Headley and then Elizabeth, Edward and Hester at Frensham.
There is an entry in Headley Burials for the death of Sarah Hall aged 68 on 21 September 1837 at Frensham Pond - however this age means she would have been 35 at the birth of her first child and 45 at her last.
There is an entry in FreeBMD for the death of Sarah Hall in July-September 1837 in Farnham (4 85). Copy dated 21 April 2005 of Entry of Death No. 8 in 1837 in the Headley district of the County of Southampton, but registered in Farnham, of Sarah Hall on 17 September 1837 in Headley aged 68 employed as an Inn Keeper. She died of 'a gradual decay', and the informant was Henry Knight, a carpenter of Headley, the death being registered on 20 September 1837.
I assume that she ran the White Horse (now the Frensham Pond Hotel) after her husband's death in 1834, and she died there, after which it was run by her son-in-law George Marden.
Wilsdon is not a local name (the only other entry in the area is the christening of a George Baker Wilsden on 15 December 1822, mother Sarah Wilsden) and I can find no information about her except her marriage. Could she be Wilson, Wilsdome or Wilsen and had she already been married?
I am her third great grandson.
