In the 1891 census as Frank Voller aged 1, born in Milford, and living with his parents (Thomas and Harriet A), thee brothers (Albert, George and William), sister (Jane), cousin (Albert Luff - son of Albert Luff and Jane Hannah Corps) and a lodger (William Hersey aged 36, born in Hambledon, Surrey, single and employed as a carter) at Lady Cross Road, Witley, Surrey.
In the 1901 census as Frank Voller aged 11, born in Milford, Surrey, and living with his parents (Thomas and Harriett A), and two brothers (Thomas and William) and sister (Annie) in Ladycross Road, Milford.
Entry in the Commonwealth War Graves Commission for Sidney Frank Voller, son of Son of Thomas and Harriett Annie Voller, of New Rd., Milford, Godalming, Surrey, a private in "A" Coy. 5th Bn. Northamptonshire Regiment service number 15076 , died on 29 July 1915 and buried at II. B. 14 in the Lancashire Cottage Cemetery, some 13.5 Km south of Ieper town centre on a road leading from the N365 connecting Ieper to Wijtschate, Mesen, Ploegsteert and on to Armentieres, Belgium. Lancashire Cottage Cemetery was begun by the 1st East Lancashire (who have 84 graves in it) and the 1st Hampshire (who have 56) in November 1914. It was used as a front line cemetery until March 1916 and occasionally later. The cemetery was in German hands from 10 April to 29 September 1918 and they made a few burials in it during that spring and summer. The cemetery contains 256 Commonwealth burials of the First World War. There are also 13 German war graves. The cemetery was designed by Charles Holden.
Sidney Frank Voller was the grandson of William Corps, husband of Tryphena Chambers Horsley, wife of Thomas Luff, my half first cousin twice removed.
