There is an entry in Ancestry Public Member Trees for Maxwell Charles Davies born on 30 September 1939, parents ? Capper and Gwendolyn Dagmar Davies, married ? Anderson, and had two sons and two daughters, one of whom married ? Hawea, and who died on 1 January 2001 at the Philip Kennedy Centre, Largs Bay, South Australia. His name was changed from Capper to Davies.
However his mother divorced Thomas Arthur Snelling in 1944 and married ? Capper, and his children had the surname Capper so I assume that Thomas Snelling was his father, and his name was changed from Snelling to Capper.
Maxwell Charles Snelling was my half third cousin once removed.
