All the children were christened in Kirby Overblow.
Christopher A O'Connell has an entry in Descendants of Matthew Stead for Edward Stead, son of Edward Stead and Mary, born in 1717, his marriage to Susanna Faivil, nine children, and his death in 1764. These children include William in 1757 whose mother in the IGI is given as Elisabeth so I assume he was the son of a different Edward, and have not included him. The death in 1764 occurs in the same year as his youngest daughter is born and I can find no other evidence of this death.
There is an entry in Ancestry Public Member Trees for Edward Stead married to Susanna Faivil on 11 November 1745 in Kirby (sic) Overblow and his eight children.
Note that this is the only occurance of Faival in the IGI, and only very rare occurances elsewhere on the web - is the spelling correct?
Kirkby Overblow is 6 miles west of Wetherby.
Edward Stead was Felicity's fifth great grandfather.
