Entry Ancestry London, England, Marriages and Banns, 1754-1921 for John Mansell and Sarah Smither on 14 April 1814 in Thursley, Surrey. "Marriages solemnized in the Parish of Thursley in the County of Surrey in the Year 1814 No 4 John Mansell bachelor of this parish and Sarah Smither spinster of this parish were married in this Church by banns with the consent of this fourtenth day of April in the presence of James Mansell (who made his mark) and Samuel Denyer, signed by John but Sarah made her mark."
On the christening records of her two sons in 1814 and 1816 her name is given as Mary in the case of John, and Sarah in the case of William. I assume Mary was entered in error for Sarah as I cannot find a marriage for John and Mary. Her husband was a labourer living at Park Lane, Witley, Surrey in both.
