Entry in the IGI for the christening of Derick Payne on 1 January 1576 in Brighton, Sussex, father Derick Payne. There are also two submitted entries, one for the christening of Derek Payne on 1 January 1576 in Brighton, Sussex, parents Deric (sic) Payne and Margaret Anstie, his marriage to Margaret Tranckmore on 18 December 1603, and his death on 18 November 1639, and the second similar but spelling his father's name Derick, giving all the locations as Brighton, and stating 18 October 1639 as the date of burial with no date for the death. There is also an entry in the Ancestral File giving his birth in 1575, his parents as Derick Payne and Margaret Anstie, his christening on 1 January 1575/76 in Brighton, his marriage to Margaret (Alice) Tranckmore on 18 December 1603 in Brighton, six children all christened in Brighton, and his burial on 18 October 1639.
