Marriage of Ann Paine and Robert Wood in the IGI on 27 July 1826 in Brighton. The same information is in the Sussex Family History Group Sussex marriage index adding that Ann was a spinster and both were of this parish.

I cannot identify an entry in the 1841 census.

In the 1851 census as Ann Wood aged 41, born in Brighton, and living with her husband (Robert) at 5 Upper Russell Place, Palace, Brighton.

In the 1861 census as Ann Wood aged 51, born in Brighton, employed as a housewife, and living with her husband (Robt) at 43 Cannon Street, Palace, Brighton.

In the 1871 census as Ann Wood, aged 62, born in Brighton, and living with her husband (Robert) and a boarder (Samuel Morley aged 73, a widower and employed as a gardener) at 1 Bodles Court (off Queens St), Brighton.

Her husband died in 1871.

Death of Ann wood in FreeBMD in July-September 1873 aged 63 in Brighton (2b 144 - there is an incorrect reference of 114)
