In the 1851 census as Frederick Ford aged 63, born in City of London (sic - in the index, Oxford on the original), Oxfordshire, a clergyman of the Church of England without cure of souls, and living with his wife (Mary Ann), two male servants (Richard Brewer aged 44, born in Chobham, Surrey and married, and James Curtis aged 24, born in Bramshott and single) and three female servants (Sarah Knight aged 33 and born in Headley, Hampshire, Deborah Wakeford aged 24 and born in Hawkley, Hampshire, and Ruth Wakley aged 23 and born in Brand Winsor, Dorset, all unmarried) at Hewshott, Bramshott, Hampshire.
