Her brother was born in St Giles in the Fields in about 1840 although I cannot find the family in the 1841 census.

In the 1851 census as Esther Muspratt aged 14, born in St Giles , Middlesex, and living with her parents (Henry and Eliza), brother (Henry), sister (Sarah) and a sevant (Eliza McClarkland aged 20, born in St Anne Soho, Middlesex and single) at 5 Wilds Passage, St Giles South, St Giles in the Fields, Middlesex. Another four families were living at this address. This census provides the only information about her family. Her father was born in St Giles in 1808 and was a bile deliverer, her mother in Ireland in 1818 and was a whipmaker, and her sister Sarah in St Giles in 1834 and was a servant.

Her daughter was born in St Giles in 1862 and died there in 1865.

"No 95 1867 at St Johns Church, St John Waterloo in the county of Surrey on August 3 1867 for Esther Muspratt , a spinster of full age living at Connvale? Road, father Henry Muspratt, a whipmaker, and John Scammell, a widower and labourer of full age living at Roupell Street, father Cornelious Scammell, a labourer after banns and witnessed by Robt Jones and Mary Davis". Esther made her mark. I believe her husband was still married to Harriet (Harriett) Bridger at this time.

Her daughter was born in St Giles in 1870.

In the 1871 census as Esther Scammell aged 33, born in St Giles, London, and living with her husband (John), and daughter (Elizabeth) at 9 Langley Court, Long Acre, St Martin in The Fields, Westminster, London. Some five other familes shared this address.

Her son and daughter were born in St George Hanover Square in 1875 and 1878.

In the 1881 census as Ester Senniel (original illegible) aged 40, born in St Giles, Middlesex, and living with her husband (John), son (Rueben) and two daughters (Elizabeth and Emma) at 74 York Street, St Margaret, Westminster, London.

Two other families shared this address.

Death of Esther Scammell in FreeBMD in October-December 1905 aged 66 in St Geo.H.Sq. (1a 326). Her husband died shortly after (on page 328).

David Garner has an entry for Esther Muspratt born circa 1838 in London St Giles, married to John Scammell married on 3 August 1867 at St John Waterloo Rd Southwark, her four children and her death in 1905 in St George Hanover Sq.

There are two entries in Ancestry Public Member Trees for Esther Muspratt born in 1837 in St Giles, parents Henry and Eliza Muspratt. Another entry adds her marriage to John Scammell and her three children (not Esther).

Esther Muspratt was the wife of John Scammell, husband of Harriet (Harriett) Bridger, second cousin three times removed of Cyril Larby, my second cousin once removed
