In the 1841 census as Elizabeth Marden aged 65 (rounded down to a multiple of 5), not born in Surrey, a grocer and living with William Marden (grandson?) and a male servant (James Greves aged 20 and born in Surrey) at Redhearne, Lower Churt, Farnham, Surrey.

Entry in the West Surrey Family History Society West Surrey Burials for Elizabeth Marden in 1846 aged 81 in Frensham. Her date of birth is estimated from this entry.
She is mentioned in A Time of Change by Gillian Devine 2005 pp25/27 as a grocer employing a male servant, and presumably a widow.
Elizabeth Hose was the mother of George Marden, husband of my second great grandaunt, Elizabeth Hall.
