Patti Shields has an entry for Robert Michener born about 1630 and died 9 November 1704 in Ash, and there are several submitted entries in the IGI, but the marriage of his son John who is surposed to be born in Ash took place in Warminghurst Sussex, and in the Sussex Family Group Sussex Marriage Index it states he was of Warminghurst. Robert is stated to have died 9 November 1704 in Ash, but the only entry I can find in the West Surrey Family History Group Surrey Burials is a Robert Mitchell on 13 January 1705. I can find no entry for a marriage to Elizabeth in the West Surrey Family History Group Surrey Marriages, and the only birth of a Jn Michinar on 25 Jun 1656 in Ash has only the father Robard Michaner. Sam and Dianne Perrins have the same information on RootsWeb WorldConnect while Melanie Robison also in RootsWeb WorldConnect have the same John son of Robert and Elizabeth being born on 25 August 1656 in Cowfold, Sussex - this is also in a submitted entry in the IGI. There are numerous other entries in RootsWeb WorldConnect which have all similar information with variations in dates and places.
Robert Michiner was my half seventh great granduncle.
