Four Scotland Yard flying squad detectives were sent for High Court trial here yesterday on charges of conspiring to defeat the ends of justice. Two of them also face charges of corruption. Detective Sergeant Michael Frederick Maidment and [...] were charged with obtaining a giftor consideration of £200 as an inducement or reward for not reporting they had found £9,000 in a house.
