In the 1911 census as Ada E Madgwick aged 9, born in Fittleworth, Sussex, and living with her parents (Thomas A and Edith), two brothers (Frederick A and Percy T), two sisters (Violet H and Winifred B) and half-sister (Alice B Caplin) in four rooms at Churchwood, Fittleworth, Sussex.

Her two sons and daughter were born in Portsmouth in 1921 to 1924.

Her husband died in Eastbourne in 1982.

F R Michael adds a daughter and her arrival in London on 1 June 1936.
Ada Emmeline Madgwick was the first cousin three times removed of David Madgwick, husband of Catherine Young, grandaunt of Ellen Young, wife of Thomas Paine, my eighth cousin three times removed.
