In the 1851 census as Martha Luff aged 5, born in Ealstead (sic), and living with her parents (Edward and Harriett), two brothers (Levi and William), and two sisters (Elizabeth and Harriett,) at Cox Heath, Crondall, Hampshire.
In the 1861 census as Martha Luff aged 15, born in Elstead, and attending to her grandparents (James and Sarah Luff) at Frensham, Surrey.

I cannot find any entries in the 1871 or 1881 census for any of the family although Charles was born in Farnham, Surrey in 1875. However Constance was born in Fermoy?, Cork, Ireland in 1882, and Percy was born in Islington in about 1887 from the 1891 census.
In the 1891 census as Martha Shackleton aged 45, born in Thursley, Surrey, and living with her husband (Henry), two sons (Charles and Percy), and daughter (Constance) in 3 rooms at 4 Goodson Road, Fulham, London (the same address was shared with two other families). This was near the crossing of A3218 Lillie Road and B317 North End Road.
In the 1901 census as Martha Shackleton aged 55, born in Thursley, married but not with her husband (who sleeps at the hospital and does not appear in the census), and living with her son (Percy) in 2 rooms at 148 Dawes Road (now the A3219), Fulham. There is one other family at the same address.
