In the 1851 census as Emma Sashanar (sic- illegible on the original) aged 7, born in Brighton, Sussex, and living with her parents (Charles and Paulina), two brothers (John and William), and four sisters (Eliza, Ellen, Mary Ann and Paulina) in Upper Gardiner Street, Brighton, Sussex.
Her brother was also born in Brighton in 1851, but her sister was born in Bromley, Middlesex in 1853.
In the 1861 census as Emma Lashmore (sic - on the original) aged 17, born in Brighton, Sussex, a laundress, and living with her parents (Charles and Paulina), four brothers (Charles, Edmund, John and William) and five sisters (Eliza, Ellen, Fanny , Mary A and Paulina) at 17 Bright Street, Bow, Bromley, Middlesex (another family was living at the same address).
In the 1871 census as Emma Lashmar aged 27, born in Brighton, Sussex, single, a laundress and living with her mother (Pauline), four brothers (Charles, Edmund, John and William), and four sisters (Ellen, Fanny, Mary A and Pauline) at 15 Bright Street, Bromley St Leonard, London. Her father was lodging at 28 Bright Street.
In the 1881 census as Emma Lashmar aged 35, born in Brighton, Sussex, single, a laudress, and living with her mother (Paulina), two brothers (Charles and John), and three sisters ( Ellen, Mary A and Paulina) at 15 Bright Street, Bromley St Leonard, London.
Her father died in 1881 and mother in 1889.

In the 1901 census as Emma Leshmar (sic - could be Lashmar on the original) aged 57, born in Brighton, Sussex, head of household, single, charing, and living with her brother (Charles) and sister (Ellen) in three rooms at 15 Bright Street, Bromley, London. This address was shared with another family.

There is an entry in Ancestry Public Member Trees for Emma Lashmar born in Brighton, Sussex in 1844. Another entry adds her parents as Charles Lashmar and Pauline Page. Another gives her birth in 1846 in Brighton.
Emma Lashmar was my seventh cousin four times removed.
