In the 1881 census as Lydia Jacobs, no age in the index but three months on the original, born in Northwood, Hampshire, and living with her parents (Frederick and Caroline), two bothers (Fredk. C and Samuel) and sister (Emily C) in a Cottage At Werrar Farm, Northwood, Isle of Wight, Hampshire.
In the 1891 census as Lydia T Jacobs aged 10, born in Northwood, Isle of Wight, and living with her mother (Sarah C), two brothers (John A and Samual L), and sister (Emily C) at 9 Market Hill, Northwood, Hampshire. Her father was living on his own at 3 Scarotts Lane, Carisbrooke.
There are multiple entries in FreeBMD in April-June 1898 in the I. Wight (2b 1241) - Harry Luff, Esther Harry Luff (this is not on the typed original - it has been confused with Esther Luff in Midhurst), Theresa Luff and Lydia Theresa Luff (both on the typed original).
In the 1901 census as Lydia Luff aged 20, born in Northmoor (sic - in the index, Northwood on the original), Isle of Wight, and living with her husband (Harry) and a neice (Lillian Pallister aged 3 and born in Fulham, London but I am not sure whose) in 4 rooms at 16 Orchard Street, Newport, Isle of Wight, Hampshire.
