In the 1891 census as James (sic - on the original) Hutchings aged 16, born in Frensham, employed as a carter, and living with his parents (James and Emily), two brothers (Albert and Thomas) and sister (Elizabeth) at Batts Corner, Frensham, Surrey.

Both children were born in Frensham in 1897 and 1900 respectively.
in the 1901 census as Alfred J Hutching (sic - in the index, Hutchings on the original) aged 26, born in Frensham, employed as a flour miller, and living with his wife (Kate), son (William J) and daughter (Florence K), and a border James W Dedman (aged 42, born in Haslemere, single and employed as an ordinary agricultural labourer) at 2 The Street, Frensham, Surrey.
Albert James and his wife Kate were witnesses at the marriage of her brother George to Louisa Richardson at All Saints, Headley on 14 May 1910.
In the 1911 census as Alfred James Hutchings aged 36 and living with Kate (wife?), William James (son?) and Florence Kate (daughter?) in Farnham, Surrey.
They later lived at Wrecclesham.
Entry in the Register of Deaths for Alfred J Hutchings in April-June 1953 aged 78 in Surrey SW (5g 808).
He was always know as Jim according to my father's records.

Alfred James Hutchings was the husband of Kate Fullick, my grandaunt.
