Marriage of Hannah Hogg and James Holms in the IGI on 29 October 1780 in Guiseley, Yorkshire.

The same information is in Guiseley Marriages 1780-1789 except his surname is spelt Holmes, and adding that both were of Horsforth and it was witnessed by John Hogg and Henry Ive (who witnessed most of the marriages of that period).

All the children were christened in Horsforth, but only the father's name is given, James Holms except in the case of Joseph where it is spelt Homes.

Peter Holms has two entries for Hannah in Ancestry Public Member Trees born on 6 November 1757 in Horsforth, father John Hogg, her marriage to James Holms and her death on 10 November 1817, one gives one son Joseph and the other adds Mary any and John.

Guiseley is about 4 miles NW of Horsforth (a chapelry in the parish of Guiseley) which is about 5 miles NW of Leeds.
