"Page 72 [...] 1855 Marriage solemnized in the Parish Church in the Parish of Headley in the County of Southampton No. 144 Feb 17 Francis Glaysher of Full age, a Bachelor and Labourer of Headley, father George Glaysher, a Labourer, and Elizabeth Burrow of Full age, a Spinster and Labourer of Headley, father John Burrow, a Labourer. Married in the Parish Church after Banns according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Established Church [...] in the Presence of us George Glaysher and Elizabeth Glaysher who made her mark. " The entry was signed by Frank Glaysher, and his wife who made her mark so I assume it was the rector who put the entry in the name Francis. He was also named Francis for the baptisms of his children.
