In the 1881 census as Hylda (sic - on the original) A Gibbins aged 4, born in Bedhampton, and living with her parents (Henry E J and Emma), three brothers (Edward S, Ralph B H and Herbert H), three sisters (Ada K, Emma M and Evelyn S), and three servants (Mary Catchlove aged 15 and born in Bedhampton, Emily Peverill aged 20 and born in Knowlle, Dorset, and Catherine Stone aged 20 and born in Windsor, Berkshire) at Bidbury House, Bedhampton, Hampshire.
The family moved from Bedhampton to Southsea between 1888 and 1890 from the births of her sisters Alice and Dorothy.
In the 1891 census as Hilda A Gibbins aged 13, born in Bedhampton, Hampshire, and living with her parents (Henry E J and Emma), four brothers (Edward S, George G, Heatheote H and Ralph B H), and five sisters (Ada K, Alice M, Dorothy G, Emma M and Ida M), and two servants (Minnie M Stone aged 20 and born in Shoreham, Sussex and Flora E Baker aged 15 and born in Ambesham, Sussex) at 16 Worthing Road, Landport, Portsea, Hampshire.
Her daughter was born in Perth in 1917, and her husband died in Brookton, some 85 miles SE of Perth in 1919.
Hilda Annie Gibbins was my seventh cousin once removed.
