In 1881 census as William Fullick aged 20, born in Headley, unmarried, employed as an agricultural labourer, and lodging with Charles Bidwell (aged 38, born in Frensham, Surrey and an agricultural labourer), his wife (Charlotte aged 36 and born in Binsted, Hampshire), four sons (Charle aged 6, James aged 16 and an agricultural labourer, Newbert aged 11 and Willie aged 3, all born in Frensham, Surrey), sister (Mary aged 8 and born in Dockenfield, Surrey), and another lodger (B. Smith aged 24, born in London, single and a carter) at Church Cottage, Frensham, Surrey.

In 1901 census as William Fullick aged 39, born in Headley, unmarried, employed as a general labourer, and living with his widowed mother (Martha) and two unmarried brothers (Arthur and George) at Rooks Cottage, Headley.

His mother died in 1905.
