Notes

Entry in IGI for the christening of Henry Fullick on 29 June 1800 in Headley, parents William Fullick and Jane (note that there is another Henry Fullick christened in Headley on 26 December 1801 - Jenny Crawford has identified this one as Henry the Elder). There is an entry in the Ancestral File for a Henry Fullick christened about 1800, parents William Fullick and Jane West. There are also two entries in the Pedigree Resource File for Henry Fullick christened around 1800, parents William Fullick and Jane West, who married Sarah. However the following entries indicate he was born between 1795 and 1800.

The marriage of Henry Fullock (sic) and Sarah Groves is in the IGI on 11 December 1824 at Frensham, Surrey. The same information (including Fullock) is in the West Surrey Family History Society West Surrey Marriages adding that both were of this parish and they were married by banns.

All the children were christened in Headley except Sarah whose birth was registered in Farnham and christened in Frensham in 1839.

1841 Headley Census as Henry Fullick aged 40 (rounded down to a multiple of 5), born in Hampshire, employed as an agricultural labourer and living with wife, three sons (George, Henry and James), and four daughters (Charlotte, Eliza, Maria and Sarah) at Barford.

He is not in the Headley 1851 Census although his wife, three sons and five daughters are. A note queries whether he had died. Obviously not from the following entries. I can find only one entry in the 1851 census for Henry Fedrick aged 52, born in Headley, an agricultural labourer and a criminal prisoner at Hampshire County Prison in Winchester. Note that this could be for Henry Fullick christened in Headley on 26 December 1801 - I cannot find an entry for him in this census although he may have still been in Australia.

In the 1861 Census as Henry Fulick (sic - on original as well as in the index) aged 63, born in Headley, employed as an agricultural labourer and living with his wife, son (James) and two daughters (Fanny and Jame (sic - Jane)) at Barford next door to his son Henry and his family.

In the 1871 Census as Henry Lullick (sic - in the index) aged 75, born in Headley, employed as an agricultural labourer and living with his wife at Barford, Headley, Hampshire.

Entry for Henry Fullick in Headley Burials on 12 May 1877 aged 82 at Barford. His birth was calculated from this entry. The death of Henry Fullick is also in FreeBMD in April-June 1877 aged _2 (sic - 82 on the original) in the Alton district (2c 106).

The following information is on Jenny Crawford's site: Henry Fullick was christened on 29 Jun 1800, parents William Fullick and Jane West, married Sarah Groves on 11 Dec 1824, had 15 children and died 7 May 1877 in Headley, Hampshire.
