Jenny Crawford has an entry for Eliza Fullick christened on 13 March 1836 in Headley, Hampshire, parents Henry Fullick and Sarah Groves.
There is an entry in the IGI for Eliza Fullick christened in Headley on 13 March 1836, parents Henry Fullick and Sarah. Note there is another entry for an Eliza Fullick christened in East Worldham on the same date, parents Henry Fullick and Martha (this Eliza is a second cousin). There is also a submitted entry for the christening of Eliza Fullick on the same date in Headley, but no parents and her marriage to Benjamin Shrubb on 25 November 1854 in Wandsworth, London, but see below.
In the Headley 1841 census as Eliza Fullick aged 5, born in Headley, and living with her parents, three brothers (George, Henry, and James), and three sisters (Charlotte, Maria, and Sarah) at Barford.
In the Headley 1851 census as Eliza Fullick aged 15, born in Headley and employed as a house servant on a farm in Standford (I assume this is Joseph Bridger aged 44 born in Liss, farming 87 acres and employing two labourers, his wife Anne aged 41 and born in Bramshott, and their children (George aged 18, Henry aged 16, William aged 10, Anne aged 7 and Mary aged 1).
There is a submitted entry in the IGI for the marriage of Eliza Fullick and Benjamin Shrubb on 25 November 1854 in Wandsworth, London, giving his christening on 29 September 1834 in Headley, and his death on 2 October 1903. However this conflicts with an entry for the marriage of Eliza Fullick and Benjamin Shrubb on 25 November 1854 in Headley, Hampshire. Also Jenny Crawford has an entry for Eliza Fullick christened on 25 January 1824, parents James Fullick and Elizabeth Trussler who married Benjamin Shrubb on 25 November 1854 (or 1856) in Headley, Hampshire, England and she died in 1892 (although I cannot find an entry in the Registry of deaths between 1891 and 1893 inclusive, and this does not tie in with the census information below - Jenny has confused this Eliza with the Eliza born in 1824 who married George Gamblin in Headley in 1856 as confirmed by the 1861 census). I assume that this is Benjamin Shrubb, christened 29 September 1833 in Headley, brother of the wife of Eliza's brother Henry, and my great granduncle.
However in the Register of Marriages although both Eliza Fullick and Benjamin Shrubb are in Farnborough (which included Headley until 1869) they are on different pages, Eliza on 2a 131 which according to FreeBMD also contains George Brockhurst, Caroline Wellen and Caroline Weller (and the IGI has an entry for the marriage of George Brockehurst and Caroline Wellen on 15 November 1854 in Alfold) and Benjamin Shrubb on page 2a 124 where he is the only entry.
I cannot find any entry in the 1861 census for Eliza Fullick or Shrubb and the only entry for a Benjamin Shrubb is Benjm Shrubb aged 25, born in Headley, married but not with his wife, employed as an agricultural labourer and a lodger with James Beagley and his family in Frensham.
I can also find no entry for Eliza in the 1871 census and the only entry for Benjamin Shrubb is Benjamin Shrub aged 37, born in Headley, married but not with his wife, employed as an agricultural labourer and lodging with Amy Earle aged 30, born in Frensham, employed as an agricultural labourer and her family in Lindford, Headley. She was married but there is no husband listed, and had five children (Alfred aged 6, Charles aged 7 months, Fanny M aged 10, Walter aged 8 and William G aged 3), all born in Headley except Fanny who was born in Frensham.
There is an entry in the 1881 census for Benjamin Shrubb aged 47, born in Headley, employed as a carter and living with his wife Amy aged 40 and born in Frensham, and seven children (Alfred aged 16 employed as an under carter, George aged 13 but where was he in 1871, Marie aged 10, James aged 7, Anne aged 5, Amy aged 3 and Mark aged 1 month, all born in Headley except Amy and Mark were born in Churt) in Churt.
I cannot find any other information about her and I assume that the entry in the Register of Deaths for Elizabeth Shrubb in January-March 1856 in Farnborough (2a 58) refers to her. However the age of Elizabeth Shrubb in Headley Burials on 15 March 1856 is 37 while it should be 20.
I am her great grandnephew.
