Notes

Birth in FreeBMD in July - September 1864 registered in Farnham district which implies he was born in Surrey, not Hampshire, and hence could not be Headley. However if they were living at Field House (Fallow Field) it would have been much easier to get to Farnham than Farnborough which included Headley from 1847 to 1869.

There is a submitted entry in the IGI for the birth of Arthur Fullick in 1865 in Headley, parents James Fullick and Pheobe Christmas. (Note that there is an entry in the IGI for the christening of Arthur James Fullick in Headley on 7 May 1865 but the parents are Henry Fullick and Martha and there seems to be confusion between the two, especially as this Arthur was only 1 year old in 1871 according to the census!).

Christening of Arthur James Fullick in the IGI on 28 August 1864 in Frensham, Surrey to James Fullick and Phoebe (Frensham Church was much closer than Headley Church). There is also a submitted entry for the christening of Arthur Fullick on 28 August 1864 in Frensham, Surrey to James Fullick and Pheobe Christmas.

In the 1871 census as Arthur Fullick (Fulleck in the index), aged 6, born in Headley, and living with his parents, three brothers (George, Albert and William) and sister Ann in Bacons Lane, Headley (as there are no houses in Bacons Lane I assume this is Field House or Fallow Field at its northern end).

In the 1881 census aged 16, born in Headley, unmarried, employed as a labourer, and living with his parents, five brothers (George, Albert, William, Walter and Henry) and three sisters (Ann Ellen, Matilda and Maud S) at Hearne, Headley.

Not with his parents in 1891 but I cannot find an entry for him.

Marriage of Arthur James Fullick to Sarah Lawrence on 22 April 1893 in Headley in a submitted entry in the IGI.

There is an entry in FreeBMD in April-June 1893 in Alton District (which included Headley from 1869) to Sara Lawrence.

In the 1901 census as Arthur J Fullick, aged 34, born in Frensham, employed as an agricultural labourer, and living with his wife, two step sons ( William and Jonah Lawrence - stated as sons in the census), three sons (Arthur, Walter and Stanley), two daughters (Rosa and unnamed) and sister-in-law (Louisa Craft - sister in the census) at Stony Bottom, Grayshott. From this I inferred that his wife was Sarah Craft who married a Lawrence and had two sons by that marriage. The youngest daughter was only 3 days old at the census.

Relationship
