Dean Madgwick has an entry in Ancestry Public Member Trees for Charles Madwick born in 1873 in Cosham, Wymering, mother Alice Madgwick, his marriage to Elizabeth, the five children in the 1901 census, and his death in 1917 in Portsmouth. Ann McKay and Matthew Savill have similar information but give his mother's name as Fullick.
The following is on Jenny Crawford's site:
I cannot find any entry for his marriage and have doubts whether the first three children are his because I cannot find any entry for their births. According to the 1901 census his wife was born in Bristol in about 1873. Ethel was born in South Wales, Willie in Southampton, Maude in Portsmouth, Ellen in Kensington and Matilda in Southampton.
Wymering and Cosham are just north of the A27/M27, and Widley a mile north up the A3.
Charles Albert Fullick was my third cousin once removed.
