Notes

Birth of Charles Fullick in FreeBMD in October-December 1848 in Farnborough (4 151) which included Headley 1847-1869.

Christening of Charles Fullick in the IGI on 12 November 1848 in Headley, Hampshire, parents William and Hannah Fullick.

The same information is in Headley Baptisms adding his father was a labourer and he was born at Simmonstone.

In the 1851 census as Charles Fullick aged 2, born in Headley, and living with his parents (William and Hannah), three brothers (Andrew, Frederic and John), and three sisters (Esther, Fanny and Jane), at Headley (Simmondstone in the Headley Census).

In the 1861 census as Charles Fullick aged 12, born in Headley, employed as an agricultural labourer, and living with his parents (William and Hannah), and two brothers (Frederick and Mark) at Bayfields Farm, Headley.

His mother died just before the 1871 census.

In the 1871 census as Chas Fullick aged 22, born in Headley, single, employed as a machinist, and living with his widowed father (Wm) at Bayfields Farm, Headley.

His father died in 1872.

Marriage of Charles Fullick and Charlotte Whiting in FreeBMD in October-December 1872 in St Saviour (1d 267) which included Walworth St Peter from 1870.

Charles William was born in Camberwell and the other children in Sydenham so I assume the family moved between 1873 and 1877.

In the 1881 census as Charles Fullock (sic - on the original) aged 32, born in Frensham, Surrey, employed as a builders foreman, and living with his wife (Charlotte), two sons (Charles M and Ernest) and two daughters (Fanny who must be Emmeline Esther M and Nellie) at 25 Dallas Road, Sydenham, Kent (another family lived at the same address).

Ernest Albert died in Camberwell in 1887, and Lily Louise was born in Walworth in 1888 and Kate in Walworth in 1890.

In the 1891 census as Charles Fullick aged 42, born in Headley, Southants, employed as a carman and living with his wife (Sarah), and three daughters (Kate, Lillie and Millie) in two rooms at 44 Ernest Street, St James, Bermondsey (address shared with another family).

He appears to have changed his name after the 1891 census, both sons having the surname Fuller.

In the 1901 census as Charles Fuller aged 50, born in Walworth, London, employed as a carman, and living with his wife (Sarah), two sons (Harry and William) and two daughters (Kate and Lily L) in two rooms at 29 Trinity Road, Rotherhithe, London. This address was shared with another family.

In the 1911 census as Charles Fuller aged 62, and living with Sarah (wife?) and Harry and Nellie (sons? - I assume Nellie was William) and Lillie Louisa (daughter?) in Greenwich, London.

There are five entries in Ancestry Public Member Trees for Charles Fullick born about 1849 in Headley, Hampshire, parents William Fullick and Hannah Trussler plus one giving his father as Mark Fullick. Another gives his birth in December 1948. Another gives his birth on 12 November 1848 in Headley, and another his christening on the same date. Matthew Savill adds his marriage to Charlotte in 1872, four children (Fanny, Charles M, Nellie and Ernest Albert), his marriage to Sarah, and the 1851-1901 census entries. Shirley Dave adds two children Lillie and Kate by Sarah.

There is an illegible entry in the Register of Births for Charlotte Whiting in July-September 1852.

I cannot find an entry for Charlotte in the 1871 census.

In the 1881 census Charlotte Fullick is aged 30 and born in Kingsbury, Surrey (the only Kingsbury I can find is near Croydon).

In the 1891 census Sarah Fullick is aged 30 and born in Walworth, Surrey.

I cannot find a death for Charlotte nor a marriage for Charles and Sarah.
