Her father remarried in 1832.
In the 1841 census as Elizabeth Croucher aged 10, born in Surrey, and living with Charles (father?), Charlotte (stepmother?), Charles (brother?), John and Stephen (half-brothers?), Mary (sister?) and Charlotte (half-sister?) at Lower Churt, Farnham, Surrey.
Her father died in 1843.
In the 1851 census as Elizabeth Croucher aged 22, born in Frensham, unmarried, employed as a servant and living with Thomas Thompson (aged 36, born in Leicestershire and employed as a schoolmaster), his wife Eliza (aged 36 and born in Ash, Suffolk), their two sons (Tyrrell Thompson aged 11 and born in London and Gordon aged 7 and born in Farnham, Surrey), a visitor (Harriott Warndell aged 26, born in Waresley, Surrey, unmarried, and no stated employment), a teacher (Charles A Jones aged 22, born in London and unmarried), a governess (Eliza Gatt aged 26, born in Swerford, Devon and unmarried) and two house servants (Ann and Harriot Bornett aged 20 and 16, born in Weybourne, Surrey, and unmarried) and 28 boys and 4 girls at Salt Hill Grammer School, Farnham Royal, Buckinghamshire (NE of A4/A355).

Elizabeth Croucher was my half great grandaunt.
