In the 1841 census as Thomas Dutton aged 50 (rounded down to a multiple of 5), born in Kent, employed as a rigger and living with Harriet (wife?) at Adelaide Place, Chatham, Kent.

In the 1851 census as Thomas Dutton aged 60, born in Dartford, Kent, and living with his wife (Harriott) and two visitors (Mary Robbinson (Kobbinson in the index), aged 47, born in Chatham, married but not with her husband) and employed as a nurse, and her son? Thos aged 12 and born in Chatham) at 13 Rhode Street, Gillingham, Chatham, Kent (between the High Street and Best Street (A231))

In the 1861 census as Thomas Dutton, aged 71, born in Deptford (sic - on original), Kent, married but not with his wife, employed as a rigger, and living with his nephew William Dutton and family (Charlotte his wife and Thom and William his sons), at 4 Melgrund Place, Rochester St Nicholas, Kent (somewhere north of Rochester High Steet).

Relationship

Thomas Dutton was the great granduncle of Joseph Garibaldi Dutton, the husband of my great aunt Mary Ann Payne.
