In the 1900 census as Lancelot David aged 6 months, born in Huish Episcopi, Somerset, and living with his (grand?) parents (William and Eliza), three brothers (Arthur, Edwin and Samuel - really uncles?) and sister (Hepzibah - really aunt? but could be mother?) at Pibsbury, Huish Episcopi, Somerset.
In the 1911 census as Lancelot David aged 10 and living with Emily Cecilia Pibbins (mother or aunt?), Edward Stuart , Stanley Stuart (halfbrother or nephew?), Dorothy Grace (sister or neice?) in Marylebone, London.
There are two entries in RootsWeb WorldConnect for Lancelot David born on 3 September 1900, one giving his mother as Emily Cecilia David and the other as Hephzibah Belinda David.
Matthew J David has an entry in Ancestry Public Member Trees for Lancelot David born on 3 September 1900 in Pibsbury, Huish Episcopi, Somerset, parents Thomas Edgar Randall Humphery and Hephsibah Belinda David (however they did not marry until 1906). James Murphy gives his parents as William Henry David and Elizabeth Ann Patten.
An email from Katherine Miller including a birth certificate comfirms that Lancelot was the son of Hephzibah Belinda David. The copy of the Entry of Birth no 16 in the district of Langport in 1900 states Lancelot was born on 3 September 1900 at Pibsbury, Huish Episcopi, mother Hephzibah David, and the birth was registered on 13 September, the informant being his mother.
Lancelot David was the nephew of Emily Cecilia David, the wife of Edward Stuart Gibbins, my seventh cousin once removed.
