In the 1861 census as Edward Corps aged 7, born in Witley, and living with his parents (William and Harriett), brother (Charles) and sister (Jane) at an illegible address (St Johns Bridge?) which I believe is near Wheelerstreet, Witley, Surrey.
In the 1871 census as Edwards Coops (sic - in the index, correct on the original) aged 16, born in Witley, employed as an agricutural labourer, and living with his parents (William and Harriett), brother (Charles), and two sisters (Harriett and Jane) at Oxted Green (off A283), Milford, Surrey.

In the 1901 census as Edward E Corpo (sic - in the index, Corps on the original) aged 46, born in Witley, Surrey, employed as a police constable, and living with his wife (Susan), son (Wiliam C) and a boarder (Robert Deadman aged 21, born in Worthing, single and a carpenter) and a visitor (John Williams aged 42, born in Ballingham, Herefordshire, married and an architectural scultor) in 16 Belfast Street, Hove, Sussex.
On the entries in the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and Sussex Roll of Honour for Hove for the death of his son William Charles in 1918 his address is given as 24 Rutland Road, Hove, Sussex.
Edward Charles Corps was the son of William Corps, husband of Tryphena Chambers Horsley, wife of Thomas Luff, my half first cousin twice removed.
