Birth of Emma Kathleen Corps in FreeBMD in July-September 1882 in Steyning (2b 294) which included Hove.

In the 1891 census as Emma C Corpe (sic - in the index, Corps on the original) aged 8, born in Hove, and living with her parents (Edward C and Susan), two brothers (Horace E and William C) and sister (Emma C) at 16 Belfast Road, Hove, Sussex.

In the 1901 census as Kathleen Corps aged 20, born in Hove, Sussex, single and a servant) and living with a visitor (Charles Saxby aged 54, born in Penshurst, Kent, single and a general labourer) at 13 Montepelier Terrace, West Brighton, Sussex. There is no head of household and she was probably employed by Grace Campbell (aged 72, born in Dumfries, Scotland, single and living on her own means), who was living with two servants (Kate Haines aged 24 and born in Winchcombe, Gloucestershire and Amy E Taylor aged 22 and born in Goudhurst, Kent, both single) at 12 Montepelier Terrace.

Relationship
