There is an entry in the Register of Births for the birth of Kale (an 'l' not a 't' on the original) Barber in June-September 1868 in the Farnham District (2a 102) which included Frensham. However I cannot find any other reference to a Kale Barber.
In the 1871 census as Kate Baker aged 2, born in Frensham, and living with her parents, brother (Edward) with her grandmother (Harriett Barber) and uncles (Daniel and William) at Lion's Green, Shottermill, Frensham, Surrey.
Her mother died in October-December 1878 according to an entry in FreeBMD for the death of Harriet Baker aged 27 in Farnham (2a 77).
In 1881 census as Kate Baker aged 12, born in Frensham, and living with her widowed father, and three bothers (Andrew, Edward and Frederick) at Lion's Green, Shottermill, Frensham.
In 1891 census as Kate Baker aged 22, born in Frensham, single, employed as a cotton winder, and living with her father and two brothers (Edward and Frederick) at Lion's Lane, Shottermill, Frensham.
There is an entry in FreeBMD for the marriage of Harriet Kate Barber and David Thomas Stacey in October-December 1893 in the Farnham District (2a 202) which included Shottermill.
In the 1901 census as Kate Stacey aged 32, born in Shotteswell (sic in the index), Surrey, and living with her husband and two daughters (Lilian and Rose Ellen) and her widowed father at Lion Lane, Shottermill, Surrey. Shottermill is now a parish,and no longer part of Frensham.
Both children were born in Shottermill.
In the Bakers of Frensham it states Kate born in 1869, and in 1881 she were living with her widowed father at Lion Green in Shottermill, Haslemere.
I am her first cousinn twice removed.
