Entry in West Surrey Family History Society Frensham Baptisms for Stephen Baker, son of John and Hannah Baker, on 11 February 1799.

Entry in West Surrey Family History Society Surrey Marriage Index for Stephen Baker and Anne Loveland, both of this parish, on 10 February 1834 in Frensham by banns. The same information is in the Bishops Transcripts for Frensham Parish (microfilm made in 1962 at LCC) adding it was number 226, he was a bachelor and she a spinster, and it was witnessed by Charles and Jane Loveland who also witnessed the marriage of Richard Baker and Mary Loveland earlier the same day.

There is an entry in the Pedigree Resource File for Stephen Baker born about 1809 in Frensham, Surrey and his marriage to Ann Loveland on 10 February 1834 in Frensham.

All the children were christened in Frensham and I assume were born in Lower Churt. This was in the area of the Old Post Office at the bottom of Star Hill. In the entries for Mercy and John it states he was a shopkeeper of Churt.

In the 1841 census as Stephen Baker aged 40 (rounded down to a multiple of 5), born in Surrey, employed as a grocer and living with Ann (wife?), John and William (sons?) and Martha and Mary (daughters?) at Lower Churt, Farnham, Surrey.

In the 1851 census as Stephen Baker aged 52, born in Frensham, employed as a grocer, and living with his wife (Ann), three sons (Henry, John and William) and four daughters (Jane, Margrett, Martha, and Mary ) in Lower Churt, Frensham, Surrey.

Death of St* Baker in FreeBMD in October-December 1860 in Farnham (2a 50).

In the Bakers of Headley Stephen Baker was born in about 1799, the fifth child of John by his first marriage and baptised on 11 February 1799, married Ann Loveland in Frensham on 10 February 1834, and died in 1860.
