Not in the 1851 Ancestry Census (a large part of rural Elstead is missing), but is in the 1851 West Surrey Family History Society census as Edward Baker aged 8, born in Elstead, and living with his parents (Thomas and Sarah) and sister (Fanny) in Elstead.
In the 1861 census as Edward Baker aged 19, born in Elsted, Surrey, single, no stated employment, and living with his parents (Thomas and Sarah), sister (Fanny), two nephews (Fredrick and George Baker), and a visitor (William Chandler aged 17, born in Bedfordshire, single and a journeyman potter in earthenware) in Frensham.
His father died in 1870.
In the 1871 census as Edward Baker aged 29, born in Elsted, Surrey, single, a farmer's son, and living with his widowed mother (Sarah), nephew (George Basler (sic - in the index, Baker on the original) aged 17, born in Elsted, single and a farm labourer) and a farm servant (John Burl aged 21, born in Kingsley, Hampshire and single) in Upper Churt, Frensham, Surrey.

From the birth of Louisa I assume that the family moved to Thursley between 1882 and 1885.
In the 1891 census as Edward Baker aged 48, born in Elstead, employed as a farmer, and living with his wife (Marian), two sons (Edward and Thomas) and seven daughters (Annie, Elizabeth, Emily, Fanny, Louisa, Maria and Sarah) at Upper Highfield Farm, Thursley, Surrey.
In the 1901 census as Edward Baker aged 58, born in Elstead, employed as a farmer and living with his wife (Maria), three sons (Edward, John and Thomas), and two daughters (Armie and Louisa) at Upper Highfield Farm, Thursley, Surrey.
In the 1911 census as Edward Baker aged 68 and living with Maria (wife?), John and Thomas (sons?) and Annie and Louisa (daughters?) in Hambledon, Surrey.

Ron Baker has an entry for Edward Baker baptised 7 August 1842 in Elstead, Surrey, parents Thomas Baker and Sarah Levett, his marriage to Maria, the 1861-1001 census entries and ten children. David Pink adds his marriage to Maria Keen on 11 November 1874 at St Philips, Battersea, and his death in Thursley, Surrey on 22 December 1935.
Edward Baker was my half first cousin three times removed.
