However she is not listed with her parents in the 1841 census who were living in Conford, Bramshott, Hampshire.

In the 1851 census as Emma Budd aged 10, born in Bramshott, Hampshire, and living with her parents (Daniel and Eliza), five brothers (Cephas, Daniel, Edward, George and Jacob), and sister (Ann) in Bramshott, Hampshire.

I cannot find her in the 1861 census, but she was not with her parents.

Her first four children were born in Aldershot in 1862 to 1868.

In the 1871 census as Emma Gardener (sic - on the original) aged 30, born in Bramshott, Hampshire, and living with her husband (Richards), three sons (George E, Hadled and Richards), daughter (Mary A), mother-in-law (Eliza) and sister-in-law (Victoria) in Deadwater, Headley, Hampshire.
