On the typed original the mother's maiden name is given as Beaird or Surridge with a handwritten entry at the bottom of the page giving just Surridge and see M64. In the Register of Births there is an entry for Gordon P Beaird, mother's maiden name Surridge in January-March 1964 in Ilford (5a 382). Edward L Beaird, with the same mother's maiden name, is registered in the previous entry in North Bucks.
