Not in the Ancestry 1851 census which omits Thursley, but in the West Surrey Family History Society as Jane Baker aged 6, born in Frensham, and living with her parents (Richard and Mary), four brothers (James, John, Richard and William) and two sisters (Fanny and Martha) in Thursley.
In the 1861 census as Jane Baker aged 17, born in Frenchham (sic - on the orginal), Surrey, single, a worker on the farm and living with her widowed father (Richard), five brothers (Fredrick, James, John, Richard and William), sister (Mary), cousin (Mary Ann Baker), aunt? (Eliza Loveland), and a servant (Mary Smithers aged 18, born in Thursley, Surrey and single) in Chinthurst Lane, Shalford, Surrey.
There is an entry in Ancestry Public Member Trees for Jane Baker christened in Frensham on 19 May 1844, parents Richard Baker and Mary Loveland.
Baker's of Headley states Richard’s sixth child, Jane, was born in Frensham in 1844. In 1851 she was living with the rest of the family at Emly Farm, Thursley. In 1861 she was living with the family at Chinthurst Lane in Shalford, described as “working on the farm”.
Susan F Belsey has an entry for Jane Baker baptised on 19 May 1844 in Frensham, Surrey, daughter of Richard Baker and Mary Loveland.
