The Bakers of Headley states Edwin’s first child (sic - actually his fourth), Esther, was born in Lambeth in 1864/5 . In 1881 she was living with her family at 14 Andersons Walk, working as a book folder.

Sue Lamido has an entry in Ancestry Public Member Trees for Esther Baker christened on 5 July 1865 at St Mary Lambeth, parents Edwin Baker and Charlotte Adley Sandys, her marriage on 31 March 1899 to William Hanson in St Saviour Southwark, eight children, and her death in Camberwell Southwark in March 1941.

St Saviour was transfered to London on 1 April 1889.
