Birth of Edward Keen in FreeBMD in October-December 1873 in Hambledon (2a 118).

There is an entry in West Surrey Family History Society Surrey Baptisms for Edward Keen in Churt on 25 January 1874, son of Maria of Ridgway, Elstead, a spinster, born on 15 October 1873 by Edward Baker, and a similar entry for Edward Baker, son of Edward, a farmer of Churt, by Maria Keen.

His parents married in Battersea in 1874.

In the 1881 census as Edward Baker aged 7, born in Elstead, and living with his parents (Edward and Maria), four sisters (Elizabeth, Emily, Fanny and Maria), and a farm servant (George Collins aged 18, born in Kingsly, Hampshire, and single) at Tilford Road (Hindhead end from other entries), Churt, Farnham, Surrey.

From the birth of Louisa I assume that the family moved to Thursley before 1885.

In the 1891 census as Edward Baker aged 17, born in Elstead, employed as a farmer's son, and living with his parents (Edward and Marian), brother (Thomas) and seven sisters (Annie, Elizabeth, Emily, Fanny, Louisa, Maria and Sarah) at Upper Highfield Farm, Thursley, Surrey.

In the 1901 census as Edward Baker aged 27, born in Churt, single, employed as a farmer's son and living with his parents (Edward and Maria), two brothers (John and Thomas), and two sisters (Armie and Louisa) at Upper Highfield Farm, Thursley, Surrey.

Marriage of Edward Baker and Maria Levy in FreeBMD in April-June 1905 in Hambledon (2a 341). His sister Emily married William Bowbrick on the same page.

In the 1911 census as Edward Baker aged 37, born in Elstead, Surrey, a farmer and employer, and living with his wife (Maria) and daughter (Elizabeth Maria) in five rooms at Ridgeway Farm, Upper Ridgeway Thursley, Godalming, Surrey.

David Pink has an entry for Edward Baker born in 1874 in Elstead, Surrey, parents Edward Baker and Maria Keen, his marriage to Maria Levy in 1905 in Hambledon and his death on 18 November 1952. Matthew Savill adds his birth on 15 October 1873 at Ridgeway Farm Elstead on 15 October 1873, his christening on 25 January 1874 at St John the Evangelist, Churt, son of Edward Baker (a farmer) and Maria Keen of Ridgeway, Elstead, his daughter and his death at St Thomas Hospital, Hambledon, Surrey on 18 November 1952. There are some six other entries with variations on the above.
