Birth of Edward Baker in FreeBMD in July-September 1859 in Lambeth, Surrey (1d 258).
In the 1861 census as Edmund (in both index and on original) Baker, aged 2, born in Lambeth, Surrey, and living with his parents, sister (Matilda), two lodgers, and a visitor at 32 Oakley Street, Lambeth (near Waterloo Road).
In 1871 census as Edward Baker aged 11, born in Lambeth, Surrey, and living with his parents, four sisters (Elizabeth, Esther, Jessie and Sarah A J) and brother (William) at 15 Andersons Walk, Lambeth.
Not with his parents in the 1881 census - he may be the Edward Baker aged 20, born in London, Surrey and a private at the 50th Brigade Depot "Eleventh Hussars Hounslow Barracks" Heston, Middlesex, England.
In the 1891 census aged 31, single, employed as a factory labourer, and living with his parents, brother (William) and a boarder (Edward Cox) at 46 Thrush Street, Newington, London.
The only entry I can find in the 1901 census is for Edward Baker aged 43, born in Lambeth, single, employed as a general labourer, and living in a very large lodging house, Camberwell District Chambers, 90 Camberwell Road, London with a large number of other lodgers.
I am his first cousin twice removed.
