Like father, like son. That's why the Baker family was out on a double celebration yesterday. Dr Maurice Baker, Singapore's High Commisioner to Malaysia had every reason to smile when an honary degree of Doctor of Law was conferred on him on the third day of the National University of Singapore convention yesterday. But the big moment for him was when he sat back and watched his son, Bernard, 24, being awarded his Bachelor of Arts degree. "I wasn't able to attend my other son', Edmund's, convention when he was awarded his law degree, so today is extra special" said Dr Baker.
