The Ancestral and Pedigree Resource files (spelt Alyling) has the birth as 1643 in Bramshott and also give the burial.
There are entries for Aylings in Bramshot (sic) from Edmund in 1563 to Mercie in 1636, but not later. The name is common in Sussex during this time. There is an entry in the main IGI for a Katherine Ayling christened 27/5/1632 in Bramshott father Richard - however this makes her 48 for the birth of Thomas.
I am her seventh great grandson.
