In the 1851 census as Thomas Adams aged 22, born in Stow Bedon, Norfolk, single, a farmer's son and living with his parents (William and Sarah), sister (Jemina) and nephew (William) in Stow Bedon, Norfolk.

His three children were born in Hockham.

In the 1891 census as Francis (sic - in the index, Thomas on the original) Adams aged 62, born in Stow Bedon, a farmer and drillman, and living with his wife (Emily), daughter (Emily M) and granddaughter (Thirza Adams) in Church Road, Stow Bedon, Norfolk. I guess Thirza was Emily's daughter - she was born in Stow Bedon. However I cannot find any reference to her after this census.
His wife died in 1898.
In the 1901 census as Thomas Adams aged 72, Stow Bedon, Norfolk, widowed, an ordinary agricultural labourer, and living with his widowed sister Charlotte Lane who was the head of the household in four rooms in Attleborough Road (now B1077), Great Ellingham, Norfolk.
